Roros Peach Puff Pastry Pastries

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 slice(s) puff pastry, frozen, portioned into slices
  • 4 half peaches
  • some marzipan, crumbled (optional)
  • 2 tsp jam, apricot, aromatic
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 3 tsp granulated sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

so you are prepared for any surprise visit

Defrost the puff pastry sheets according to the instructions (use a paper separator!). Mix the jam with the lemon juice until smooth. Put a little of the jam in the middle of each sheet. Then crumble some marzipan and place it on top. Place the peach half on top, flat side down. Fold the four puff pastry corners slightly towards the middle and press firmly (in front of the peach). Sprinkle the pastries with half of the sugar. Place the puff pastry pieces on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake in the preheated oven according to the instructions (on the package) until the pieces have risen and are nicely browned. Allow the pieces to cool slightly, then sprinkle (again) with the rest of the sugar. Peach puff pastry pieces taste great even when eaten lukewarm!
