Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g mushrooms, brown or white
- 1 small onion(s)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 50 g ground almonds
- olive oil
- salt and pepper
- clove(s) garlic
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Slice the mushrooms, dice the onions, and fry them together in 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Add garlic, if desired. Sauté everything thoroughly and season with salt and pepper to taste. Let cool. Then puree the mixture. Stir in the almonds and olive oil as needed. Store in jars. It will keep in the refrigerator for about 5 days. You can vary this recipe with different spices and even substitute any kind of nuts for the almonds. Tastes great on toasted bread.
