Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g apples, e.g. Elstar
  • 3 large bananas
  • 5 small peaches (vineyard peaches)
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet of gelling sugar (2:1)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 40 minutes

so simple, so delicious

Peel the apples and finely grate them into a saucepan. Peel the bananas and cut them into small pieces, then add them to the apples. Pit the peaches and cut them into small pieces, keeping the skin on. Add the peaches and vanilla sugar to the other fruit. Purée until smooth, to your liking using a hand blender. Then fold in the gelling sugar. Let stand in a covered pan for 2-3 hours. Then boil gently for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Test for setting. Pour immediately into jars and seal.
