Classic Pound Pot

The perfect classic pound pot recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Gypsy sauce
  • 200 g Barbecue sauce
  • 200 g Sour cream
  • 200 ml Cream
  • 250 g Pork meat
  • 250 g Beef
  • 250 g Chicken breast fillet
  • 250 g Poultry sausage
  • 150 g Cabanossi
  • 150 g Bacon
  • 150 g Smoked Mettwurst
  • 250 g Hacked
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • 250 g Onions
  • 250 g Paprika
  • 400 g Mushrooms
  • 200 g Canned tomatoes
  1. Mix the gypsy sauce, grill sauce, sour cream and cream well. Spread half of the sauce on the bottom of an ovenproof dish.
  2. Cut the pork, beef, chicken breast fillets and poultry sausages into approx. 2 cm cubes, mix and distribute on the sauce in the pan.
  3. Cut the cabanossi into slices, chop the bacon, dice the smoked sausages, mix everything together and spread over the meat in the pan.
  4. Season the minced pork with salt and pepper, knead well, shape into balls and place them on the sausages in the mold.
  5. Cut the onion into rings, cut the peppers into small pieces, cut the mushrooms into pieces about 1.5 cm in size, mix everything together and put in the mold as well.
  6. Finally spread the rest of the sauce onto the contents of the pan.
  7. Bake at 180 degrees for 2 hours.
