Mango – Orange – Puree

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 kg orange(s)
  • 3 large mangoes
  • 1 kg sugar
  • 1 sachet of Gelfix

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Halve the oranges and juice them. Peel the mangos, cut them into pieces, and cook them with the orange juice until soft. Puree the fruit until the mixture becomes a nice mushy consistency. Then add the sugar, up to a kilo depending on the sweetness of the fruit; it’s best to taste it briefly during the process. Finally, add the gel fix, bring to a boil, and pour into twist-off jars. Seal the jars immediately and turn them upside down for 5 minutes.
