Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 Bockwurst, diced
  • 1 medium-sized onion(s), finely chopped
  • 1 apple, coarsely grated
  • 3 large cucumber(s), sour, diced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp oil
  • some herbs, fresh or frozen

Cut the frankfurters into evenly sized cubes and place them in a bowl. Peel and finely dice the onion, and add it to the bowl. Wash the apple and coarsely grate it with the peel. Dice the pickles and add them to the bowl with the other ingredients. Mix the salt, sugar, ketchup, mustard, and oil together and pour over the other ingredients. Sprinkle with herbs and toss well. The salad should be allowed to sit for optimal flavor.
