Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g pasta (spiral pasta), cooked, rinsed, drained
- 250 g poultry sausage, diced
- 150 g peas, frozen, thawed
- 150 g cheese, (Emmental) diced
- 1 can of mandarin oranges, approx. 170 g net, drained, collect juice
- 150 g sour cream
- 100 g mayonnaise
- 3 dashes Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp juice (tangerine juice)
- 4 tbsp vinegar (Melfor, spiced vinegar)
- 1 tsp curry powder (Madras)
- Salt
- Pepper, colorful from the mill
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes
slightly sweet and sour note with a hint of exoticism
Mix the sour cream, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, mandarin orange juice, Melfor vinegar, and Madras curry to make a marinade. Add the pasta, sausage, peas, and cheese. Mix well. Finally, carefully fold in the mandarin orange segments. Season with salt and pepper. Let stand for about an hour (do not refrigerate).
