Ingredients for 10 servings:
- 140 g margarine
- 120 g powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 1 lemon(s), the peel
- 2 eggs
- 300 g flour, smooth
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 125 ml milk
- 750 g apples
- 50 g raisins
- 50 g sugar
- Cinnamon
- 3 eggs
- 80 g powdered sugar
- 1 cup cream
- 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour
Peel, quarter, core, and slice the apples. Beat the margarine, powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, lemon zest, and eggs until very creamy. Sift the baking powder with the flour and stir into the foam mixture alternately with the milk. Pour the batter into a greased and floured frying pan, top with apples, raisins, sugar, and cinnamon, and bake at medium heat for 30 minutes. Pour the cream topping (whisk the cream, egg yolks, sugar, and vanilla sugar well, then fold in until stiff peaks form) over the top and bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
