Chocolate Banana Pancakes

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 25 g butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 30 g powdered sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 150 g flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 200 ml buttermilk (or milk)
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • e.g. chocolate, (chocolate drops)
  • maple syrup

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat, then transfer it to a mixing bowl. Add the eggs, powdered sugar, and salt; beat until creamy. Combine the flour and baking powder and stir in. Gradually add the buttermilk (or milk) until a thick batter forms. Cut the bananas into 1/2-1 cm thick slices and then drizzle with lemon juice. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan and fry the pancakes. Top the pancakes with some banana pieces, then flip them! Fry the pancakes for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Sprinkle the finished pancakes with chocolate chips and drizzle with a little maple syrup to finish.
