Green gooseberry – kiwi jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g kiwi(s), peeled and diced
  • 500 g gooseberries, cleaned and washed
  • 1,000 g gelling sugar (1:1)
  • 30 ml white rum (e.g. Havana Club)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash, trim, and puree the gooseberries. Peel the kiwis and cut into small cubes. Combine everything with the preserving sugar in a saucepan, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil, then simmer over high heat for about 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in the rum. Pour the mixture into prepared jars while still hot and seal immediately.
