Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g apples, sour
  • 500 g pumpkin(s)
  • 1 lemon(s), the juice
  • 500 g gelling sugar (2:1)

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Peel the washed apples and cut into pieces. Peel the pumpkin, scrape out the seeds and the soft inside, and cut the flesh into small cubes. Place in a saucepan. Add the lemon juice and apple pieces and mix everything with the gelling sugar. Boil for 4 minutes until bubbling. Purée with a hand blender. Fill into prepared jars. Tip: Unsweetened applesauce can also be used instead of the apples. This makes enough for about 4 jars.
