Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 180 g butter
- 180 g sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 375 g flour, type 405
- 1 ½ packets of baking powder
- 3 packets of vanilla sugar
- 2 tbsp Amaretto
- 3 tbsp milk
- 1 ½ kg plum(s)
- 80 g cinnamon sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
with batter
Pit the plums and cut them into quarters. Set aside. Cream the butter until light and fluffy. Add the sugar to the butter and beat until the mixture turns whitish. Gradually add the eggs and beat vigorously until light and fluffy. Mix the flour, baking powder, and vanilla sugar and stir in briefly. Stir in the Amaretto. Stir in enough milk to form a smooth batter. Spread the batter evenly on a baking tray greased with a little butter. Cover the batter with the plums and bake on the middle shelf at 175°C (top/bottom heat) for about 30 minutes. The cake is ready when the batter between the plums is golden brown. Immediately sprinkle the cake with the cinnamon sugar.
