Josef's pasta and spinach casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta (fusilli)
  • 750 g creamed spinach, thawed
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 250 g sausage (Mettenden, Cabanossi or streaky bacon)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • some Fondor
  • n. B. Cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook the pasta until al dente. Meanwhile, dice the onion and slice the sausage (or dice the bacon). Then fry the diced onion in the oil, add the sausage, and cook until the onions are lightly browned. Add the thawed spinach, mix well, and heat until hot, then add the sour cream and season with a little Fondor. Fold in the cooked pasta and pour everything into a shallow baking dish. Finally, sprinkle with as much cheese as you like. Bake the casserole at 225°C for about 20 minutes, until the cheese is golden brown.
