Danish peach cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g double cream cheese or sour cream
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 orange(s), grated peel
  • 150 g sugar
  • 250 g flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tsp, leveled baking powder
  • 6 half peaches
  • 2 tbsp almonds, peeled, chopped
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Mix the cream cheese, salt, butter, orange zest, sugar, and eggs thoroughly. Gradually stir in the flour mixed with the baking powder and pour the batter into a buttered, ovenproof dish (22 cm diameter). Cut the peach halves into wedges and place them on the batter. Sprinkle the almonds on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 60 minutes. After baking, let the cake cool in the dish. Dust with powdered sugar and serve in the dish. Variations: Also delicious with other fruits, such as apples, currants, rhubarb, etc.
