Minced meat rolls with bacon

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, half/half
  • 10 slices of bacon (breakfast bacon)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tsp mustard, medium hot
  • 200 ml whipped cream
  • 1 tbsp peppercorns, pickled green
  • 1 roll
  • Salt and pepper, black
  • chili powder
  • Broth, granulated
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Preparation: Soak the bread roll in water. Peel and finely chop the onion. Wash and finely dice the bell pepper. Wash the parsley, shake dry, and finely chop. Preparation: Squeeze the bread roll lightly. Mix with the minced meat, mustard, egg, onion, parsley, and bell pepper. Season with salt, pepper, and chili. Form the mixture into rolls, approximately 7 cm in diameter, with pointed ends. Wrap each roll with one or two slices of bacon. Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the rolls. Then remove from the pan. Deglaze with cream. Season with salt, pepper, and granulated stock. Stir in the green pepper. Serve with mashed potatoes and vegetables or salad.
