Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 500 g cherry tomatoes
- 1 ½ pack of mozzarella, approx. 125 g each
- 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar, liquid
- 8 tbsp olive oil
- 10 basil leaves, fresh
- salt and pepper
- e.g. parsley
- e.g. basil
- e.g. oregano
- e.g. garlic powder
- n. B. Thyme
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Total time approx. 4 hours 15 minutes
Wash and dry the tomatoes, drain the mozzarella. Dice both and place them in a bowl with the vinegar and oil. Mix the salt, parsley, basil, oregano, garlic, and thyme to taste and stir into the salad. Let the ingredients sit for about 4 hours (this is important, especially with inexpensive tomatoes). Wash the basil leaves, shake them dry, and scatter them over the salad to serve.
