Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 balls of mozzarella (150 g each)
- 2 cloves garlic
- Iodized salt
- Pepper from the mill
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp mustard
- 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tomatoes, firm
- 1 avocado(s), ripe
- ½ Batavia lettuce or similar
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 bunch of dill
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Drain the mozzarella and cut into thin slices. Peel the garlic. Mix the vinegar with honey, mustard, salt, and pepper to make a marinade and drizzle over the cheese. Let the cheese marinate for at least 30 minutes. Press the garlic over the cheese or stir it into the marinade. Wash, quarter, and dice the tomatoes. Halve, pit, peel, and dice the avocado, and drizzle with lemon. Wash and cut the lettuce into strips. Arrange the strips on a platter, top with the cheese, and sprinkle with the tomato and avocado cubes. Drizzle over the remaining marinade and olive oil. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper again. Wash and chop the dill, and sprinkle it over the salad.
