Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g flour
  • 150 g cheese, grated
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • salt and pepper
  • Flour for the work surface and hands
  • Lard or vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Grate the cheese and mix it with the flour. Add the eggs until you have a dough that’s easy to knead. Season generously with pepper and nutmeg. Season lightly with salt. Let the dough rest for 20 minutes, then roll it into sausages with floured hands and shape them into small horseshoes. Fry in a pan with plenty of lard until browned on both sides. Delicious with brunch or other dips.
