Baked white bread

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 slices of white bread (white loaf)
  • 30 g margarine
  • some mustard
  • 8 slices of cooked ham
  • 225 g processed cheese slices (Chester)
  • 3 tomatoes
  • salt and pepper
  • rosemary
  • Grease for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Spread the bread with a little margarine and mustard. Arrange the bread and ham alternately on a greased, ovenproof platter. Sprinkle with some rosemary. Cover with the cheese slices. Cut the tomatoes crosswise, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and spread a little margarine on top. Place on the platter. Bake for 10 minutes at 250°C. Serve with lettuce, asparagus, or green beans.
