Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 slices of toast, wholemeal if desired
  • 130 g cooked ham
  • 80g salami
  • 16 slice(s) of gherkin(s)
  • 4 handfuls of tomato peppers from the jar
  • 4 slices of processed cheese or Gouda
  • 16 tsp ketchup
  • 16 dashes Tabasco, green
  • some butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Toast and butter the bread. Top with the ham and salami, then spread 4 slices of gherkins and a handful of well-drained tomato and peppers on the bread. Drizzle with ketchup and a few dashes of green Tabasco, then top with the cheese. Bake at 200°C for about 20 minutes. If you’re serving it with a salad or beer, you can also use 2 slices of toast per person.
