Apple quark cake with sugar and cinnamon

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 250 g quark
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 pack of vanilla pudding powder (for cooking)
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 ml cream
  • 500 g apples
  • sugar and
  • Cinnamon, mixed

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

For the base: Combine ingredients into a shortcrust pastry, roll out 2/3 of the dough and place in a greased springform pan. Roll the remaining dough into a log and line the edges. For the topping: Peel the apples and cut into wedges. Whip the cream until stiff, and set aside. Mix the quark, sugar, eggs, and custard powder together well. Fold in the whipped cream and pour onto the prepared pastry base. Place the apple slices on top and sprinkle thickly with a sugar and cinnamon mixture. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for approximately 50-60 minutes.
