simple, quick, tasty and healthy

Knead the flour, margarine, and xylitol with the orange flakes and turmeric to form a dough. Cover the finished dough and set it aside in the refrigerator to rest. In the meantime, wash the plums, halve them, and remove the stones. Line a small baking sheet with baking paper. Lightly roll out two-thirds of the dough and spread it on the sheet. Press the dough down with your hands, making sure that the edges rise slightly. Arrange the plums evenly on the dough. Tear off small pieces of the remaining dough and scatter them over the plums. Sprinkle with slivered almonds, if desired. Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 40 minutes. Allow to cool slightly and serve.
