Fresh Fanta cake

Spread the love

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 cup oil, e.g. sunflower oil
  • 3 ½ cups flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 cup orange lemonade (e.g. Fanta)
  • 500 g sour cream
  • 250 g cream
  • sugar and cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

simple, big on taste

Beat the eggs, sugar, and vanilla sugar with a mixer until fluffy and the sugar has dissolved. While stirring, add the oil, then gradually stir in the flour mixed with the baking powder. Finally, add the cup of lemonade and do not overmix because of the carbonation. Line a baking sheet with baking paper (or grease it), spread the batter on it, and bake the cake in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for about 15-20 minutes (until lightly browned; if in doubt, do a toothpick test). Let the base cool completely on the baking sheet. Then mix the sour cream with the liquid cream and spread evenly over the base. Sprinkle the topping with a little cinnamon and sugar and refrigerate (until the sour cream mixture has firmed up a bit). The Fanta cake is ready!
