Pork steak with Gorgonzola sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200g Gorgonzola
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 100 ml milk
  • 50 g whipped cream
  • 100 ml vegetable broth, instant
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • 4 pork steaks from the back
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • ½ bunch parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Roughly dice the cheese. Finely chop the garlic and bring to a boil with the milk, cream, and stock. Dissolve the cheese in the garlic and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Meanwhile, rinse the meat, pat dry, and season with salt and pepper. Heat the oil in a pan and sear the meat over high heat for 1 minute on each side, then cook over medium heat for 6-8 minutes until cooked through. Rinse the parsley, shake dry, and finely chop. Stir the meat juices into the sauce along with the meat juices. Serve the meat with the cheese sauce. Serve with tagliatelle pasta.
