Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
Cook the pudding according to the instructions and let it cool, stirring frequently to prevent a skin from forming. Beat the butter, egg, and sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually add the flour and baking powder and knead into a dough. Spread the dough into a greased and floured springform pan and pull up the sides. Peel and chop the apples and toss with lemon juice to prevent them from browning. Mix the apples with the cooled pudding and spread on the base. If desired, add a few raisins soaked in rum and a dash of cinnamon. Mix the crumble ingredients into crumbles and spread over the apples. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 60 minutes until golden brown. Let the cake cool completely, otherwise the filling will still be very soft. It will firm up as it cools.
