Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup oil
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 cup mineral water
  • Fat and breadcrumbs for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Mug cake

Beat the eggs, sugar, and oil with a mixer until frothy. Add the sifted flour, baking powder, and salt and mix thoroughly. Finally, stir in the seltzer water. This will form a smooth mixture. Preheat the oven to medium heat (approx. 150-180 degrees Celsius). Grease the baking pan well and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Then pour in the batter. Bake the cake at approximately 170 degrees Celsius for about 45 minutes. Decorate the cake as desired. Tip: You can also add lemon or cocoa powder to the batter.
