Salmon with caper and lime butter

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g salmon fillet(s)
  • n. B. Salt
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 2 bay leaves, fresh
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 lime(s), juice
  • 1 small jar of capers
  • e.g. parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash and dry the fish, cut into two slices, skin, and salt. Melt the butter in a pan and sear the salmon slices on one side. Then turn them over, placing each slice on a bay leaf. Place the pan in an oven preheated to 50°C (top/bottom heat) and let the salmon cook for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, brown the butter in a saucepan. Stir in the lime juice and drained capers. Add chopped parsley, if desired. Serve the salmon with the butter. Serve with a potato and cucumber mash.
