Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g pasta (macaroni)
  • 80 g butter, melted
  • 50 g cheese, grated
  • 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • Chives, in rolls
  • 2 eggs
  • Butter and breadcrumbs for the mold
  • Parsley, finely chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • Butter, in flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook the macaroni in salted water until al dente, then drain. Separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites with a little salt until stiff peaks form. Combine the egg yolks with butter, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Stir in the cream and herbs. Finally, stir in the pasta and beaten egg whites. Transfer everything to a greased and breadcrumb-coated baking dish, sprinkle with grated cheese and breadcrumbs, top with butter flakes, and bake at 180°C for 350°F (90°C) for 1/2 hour.
