Gratinated pasta in basil and mushroom cream

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g mushrooms
  • 400 g pasta (filled, fresh pasta, e.g. ravioli or cappelletti)
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 tsp flour
  • 100 g whipped cream
  • 125g mozzarella
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan, grated
  • salt and pepper
  • Basil, for garnishing

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Boil approximately 2 liters of salted water and preheat oven (electric stove: 225°C/fan 200°C). Clean, wash, and halve the mushrooms. Cook the pasta in the boiling water for approximately 2 minutes. Peel and dice the onions and fry them with the mushrooms in the hot oil. Season with salt and pepper. Dust with flour and sauté briefly. Stir in 1/4 l water and the cream. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and basil. Bring to a boil and simmer briefly. Remove the pasta with a slotted spoon, drain well, and transfer directly to a baking dish. Spread the sauce on top. Dice the mozzarella and sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese. Bake in the hot oven for 8-10 minutes and serve garnished with basil.
