Simple sheet cake

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • ⅛ liter of water
  • ⅛ liter oil, neutral
  • 6 eggs
  • 360 g sugar
  • 360 g flour
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • possibly grease for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Whisk together the water, oil, and eggs. Then mix in the sugar, flour, baking powder, and vanilla sugar. Spread the batter onto a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet. Place the sheet in a preheated oven at 175°C (top/bottom heat) for about 35-40 minutes. The batter is very light and airy, and not too dry. Note: You can be as creative as you like when it comes to toppings. I’ve baked it with apples and peaches. You can also add cherries, plums, etc.
