Wraps with turkey breast and avocado

Spread the love

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1 avocado(s), ripe
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • salt and pepper
  • 200 g cucumber(s)
  • 1 bell pepper(s), yellow
  • 350 g turkey breast fillet(s) or chicken breast fillet
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 8 tortillas

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

also works with chicken breast

Halve the avocado, remove the stone, and scoop out the flesh with a spoon. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Place the avocado, garlic, and lemon juice in a tall bowl and puree until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Finely slice the cucumber and bell pepper. Heat the oil in a pan and sear the meat. Then continue to fry for about 5 minutes over medium heat and season. Spread the avocado cream on one side of each tortilla and arrange the cucumber, meat, and bell pepper on top. Cut the wraps in half and wrap the ends with parchment paper. You can, of course, fill the wraps with whatever you like, for example, feta cheese, turkey breast, and lettuce (also delicious). Just be sure to spread the avocado on top, otherwise the tortillas will be too dry.
