Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 pc. puff pastry
  • 250 g chicken breasts
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of cheese (preferably 13% fat)
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 1 egg(s), beaten

Instructions

Roll out 1 package of puff pastry and cut into 2 equal pieces. Wash the two chicken breasts, then season with salt and pepper. Then place them in the center of the two puff pastry sheets. Place 2 slices of ham and 2 slices of cheese on each chicken breast. Fold the corners of the puff pastry over the filling. Important: Before placing the puff pastry parcels in the oven, pierce them several times with a fork to ensure the puff pastry rises. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for approximately 35 minutes. After 5 minutes, brush with the beaten egg to ensure a nice browning. Serve immediately.
