'Biting' peanut cookies – extra crunchy thanks to whole peanuts

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g butter
  • 125 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter, fine
  • 150 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 100 g peanuts, peeled and salted

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Preheat oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Soften the butter slightly and cream it with the sugar and salt. Stir in the egg and peanut butter. Combine the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon and stir into the butter mixture until the dough falls easily from the spoon. Using a teaspoon dipped in flour, scoop out small portions of the dough, place them on baking paper, and form into heaps. Sprinkle with the peanuts. Bake in the hot oven for about 15 minutes, until golden brown. Let cool.
