Potatoes in spirals

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 10 m.-sized potatoes
  • e.g. rapeseed oil
  • Seasoning salt, for fried potatoes

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Vegetarian, vegan. An apple peeler is required for preparation.

Place the potatoes on the apple peeler and peel. This will create spirals. Peel off the core (the remaining part in the middle). Place the spirals loosely on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, adding the cores. Drizzle with oil and season generously with potato salt. Place in an oven preheated to 175°C (top/bottom heat) and bake on the middle rack for about 30 minutes. Check them frequently to ensure they are just golden brown.
