- 80 g oat flakes, fine
- 115 g chocolate, dark, chopped

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla essence, then add flour and baking powder. Stir in oats and chocolate. Place small heaps of cookies on the baking sheet using a teaspoon. Do not flatten them, as they will expand naturally—so leave some space between them. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for about 15-20 minutes. Variation: Add 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon or gingerbread spice.
