Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 m.-sized apple
- ½ tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 tbsp almond flakes
- 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream
- e.g. chocolate

Quarter the apple, core, and cut into eighths. Fry the apple slices in a non-stick pan without fat on both sides until soft. After turning the apple slices, add 1 tablespoon of flaked almonds to the apples and, if desired, place a lid on top to help them cook better. Neither the apples nor the flaked almonds should get too brown. Turn the flaked almonds occasionally. Sprinkle the apple slices with vanilla sugar and let them sit briefly in the pan. Place them on a plate while hot. Scatter the flaked almonds over the slices and serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. If desired, sprinkle some grated or chopped chocolate over the vanilla ice cream.
