Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g turkey meat
  • 3 bell peppers, green, yellow, red
  • 1 small can of corn
  • ½ liter vegetable broth
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 100 g bacon
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 150 g rice
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • salt and pepper
  • oregano
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • Harissa

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Everything is cut into bite-sized pieces. The bacon is fried in a hot pan. The turkey is seasoned, seared in the bacon fat, and then removed. The tomato paste is roasted in the pan. The vegetables are added and fried until translucent. Then the rice and meat are added. Top up with the broth and simmer over low heat for about 45 minutes. When the rice is tender, season with spices to taste. We serve it with ajvar with onions and a salad.
