Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 slice(s) cake (sandwich)
- 4 scoops of ice cream (vanilla)
- 1 can pineapple, in pieces
- 50 g brown sugar
- 1 tbsp spice mix, e.g. gingerbread spice
- 100 ml whipped cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
A composition of pineapple, vanilla ice cream and cake
Whip the cream until stiff. Drain the pineapple and let it drain. Place the pineapple pieces in a frying pan with the sugar and spice mix and caramelize over low heat for about 15 minutes. Place a slice of cake on each dessert plate and arrange the pineapple pieces on top. Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and serve with the whipped cream.
