Plum cake with quark-oil dough

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 ½ kg plum(s), pitted and halved
  • 150 g quark
  • 300 g flour
  • 6 tbsp milk
  • 6 tbsp oil, neutral
  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Combine all ingredients with half of the flour using a hand blender. Add the remaining flour and knead thoroughly by hand. Roll out the dough onto a deep, greased baking sheet and spread evenly. Layer the halved plums vertically and densely. Bake for approximately 20 minutes at 200°C fan oven on the second rack from the bottom. Sprinkle the cooled cake with sugar, cut into appropriately sized pieces, and serve with a dollop of whipped cream on top.
