Maple syrup marinade

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 6 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp mustard (Dijon mustard)
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 5 tbsp olive oil, cold-pressed
  • Pepper, black from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Crush the garlic clove and mix all ingredients into a marinade, seasoning with pepper. If you like it spicy, you can use sambal oelek instead of the soy sauce. Let the marinade sit for a while. This marinade pairs well with grilled meats and poultry.
