Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced beef or mixed
  • 150g penne
  • salt water
  • Paprika powder
  • salt and pepper
  • 150 g onion(s), diced
  • 1 garlic clove(s), squeezed
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 4 tbsp tomato paste
  • 300 g vegetables (Mexican mix, frozen)
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • n. B. water
  • possibly Tabasco

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

with minced meat

Cook the pasta in salted water. Sauté the onions and garlic, add the minced meat, and fry for about 5 minutes until crumbly. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Add the tomato paste to the meat and fry briefly. Add the vegetable mixture and sauté briefly. Add a little water and simmer briefly. Season again with salt, pepper, and paprika. If desired, add a dash of Tabasco for more spice. Layer the pasta, 50g of cheese, and the vegetables alternately in a baking dish. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and bake for about 20 minutes.
