Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 rolls of your choice
  • 4 tsp, heaped crème fraîche, optionally with herbs
  • 4 tsp, heaped herb cream cheese
  • 4 tomatoes
  • some seasoning salt (tomato-mozzarella salt) or
  • Salt
  • 100 g cheese (Gouda), grated
  • possibly salami or ham

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Take 4 rolls (wheat rolls are best) and cut them in half. Split the tomatoes in half and scoop out the flesh with a small spoon. Cut into small cubes and sprinkle with a little tomato salt (or regular salt). Let them rest for 5 minutes. Then, remove any excess water and mix the crème fraîche, cream cheese, and Gouda with the tomatoes. Finally, spread everything on the rolls. If the rolls tip over, cut a slit in the underside before adding the topping. For an even spicier twist, you can add ham or salami cubes, or spread the rolls with tomato bresso. Bake at 200°C for about 5 minutes.
