Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit). Cook the gnocchi according to the package instructions. Thaw the spinach, using a microwave if necessary. Chop the onion and cheese into small pieces. Place the onion in a baking dish. Sprinkle with a generous amount of pepper, a little salt, and nutmeg. Place the cooked gnocchi in the baking dish on top of the onion, spread the rindless cheese over it, add the warm spinach, and mix everything together. Place the dish in the oven and bake for half an hour. The more flavorful the cheese, the less salt is needed.
