Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 ml milk
  • 300 g semolina
  • 2 large eggs
  • chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Grandma’s recipe

Bring the milk and semolina to a boil. Once the mixture has set, remove from the heat and let it cool slightly. Add the eggs and finely chopped chives, mix well, and form dumplings. Simmer these in boiling water for about 20 minutes. Serve with pickled cucumbers. Prepare the cucumber salad, but add cream to the vinegar mixture instead of oil.
