Applesauce Cream Cake

The perfect applesauce cream cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For the dough:

  • 150 g Butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 150 g Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 4 tbsp Milk

For covering:

  • 1 packet Gelatin
  • 700 g Applesauce
  • 1 cups Sour cream
  • 1 cups Whipped cream
  • 1 packet Cream stiffener
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar

To sprinkle:

  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 pinch Cinnamon

For the dough:

  1. Put the butter, eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar in a mixing bowl and stir.
  2. Mix flour and baking powder, sieve, add and stir in.
  3. Add milk and stir.
  4. Put the dough in a springform pan and smooth it out.
  5. Bake at 175 degrees for about 30 minutes.

For covering:

  1. Mix the ground gelatine with water and let it swell, then heat it in a saucepan.
  2. Add the apple sauce to the gelatine and stir slowly.
  3. Place a cake ring around the baked base and spread the applesauce on the dough.
  4. Put the sour cream in a bowl and stir until smooth.
  5. Whip the whipped cream with the whipped cream and vanilla sugar until stiff, add to the sour cream and stir.
  6. Spread the sour cream and cream mixture on the applesauce.

To sprinkle:

  1. Mix the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the cake.
