Applesauce Cream Cake
The perfect applesauce cream cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
For the dough:
- 150 g Butter
- 2 Eggs
- 100 g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 150 g Flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 4 tbsp Milk
For covering:
- 1 packet Gelatin
- 700 g Applesauce
- 1 cups Sour cream
- 1 cups Whipped cream
- 1 packet Cream stiffener
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
To sprinkle:
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 pinch Cinnamon
For the dough:
- Put the butter, eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar in a mixing bowl and stir.
- Mix flour and baking powder, sieve, add and stir in.
- Add milk and stir.
- Put the dough in a springform pan and smooth it out.
- Bake at 175 degrees for about 30 minutes.
For covering:
- Mix the ground gelatine with water and let it swell, then heat it in a saucepan.
- Add the apple sauce to the gelatine and stir slowly.
- Place a cake ring around the baked base and spread the applesauce on the dough.
- Put the sour cream in a bowl and stir until smooth.
- Whip the whipped cream with the whipped cream and vanilla sugar until stiff, add to the sour cream and stir.
- Spread the sour cream and cream mixture on the applesauce.
To sprinkle:
- Mix the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the cake.
