Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 500 g flour
- 62 g butter
- 200 g sour cream
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 pinch of salt
- 500 g clarified butter for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
Grandma’s recipe, also known as ox tongues
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and knead thoroughly. Refrigerate the dough for a short time. Then roll out the dough very thinly and cut into approximately 10 x 10 cm pieces. Then fry the pieces in hot clarified butter. If the dough doesn’t rise, the dough isn’t rolled out thin enough.
