Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 2 bananas, ripe
- 100 g flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp sugar
- Salt
- 3 tbsp water (varies depending on how thick the dough is)
- Frying oil, e.g. vegetable oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
First, mash the peeled bananas thoroughly into a fine paste. Mix with all the remaining ingredients, except the water. Finally, add enough water to make the batter the consistency of thick yogurt. Heat the oil in a frying pan (I use a wok for deep-frying). Measure the batter with a spoon and add it to the oil. When the nuggets start to turn light brown, remove them from the pan and drain on kitchen paper.
