Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g macaroni or pasta as desired
  • 2 cans of tuna in its own juice
  • 1 pack of sauce powder for herb sauce
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 60 g butter
  • n. B. Capers, optional
  • Tabasco, green, optional
  • White wine, optional
  • 1 small pickle(s), optional
  • some stalks of parsley, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook the pasta in salted water as usual. Meanwhile, finely chop the onions and sauté in a pan with butter until translucent, stirring frequently. Add water (less than indicated on the herb sauce package) and bring to a boil. Add the sauce powder and stir well; the sauce should thicken. Add the tuna from both cans, including all its juices, and stir well to ensure the tuna is evenly distributed throughout the sauce. Optionally, you can refine the sauce with a splash of white wine, a few drops of green Tabasco, and some capers or a small, finely diced pickle. Sprinkle with parsley for a nice touch. Serve with the drained pasta.
