Minced meat and savoy cabbage casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g savoy cabbage
  • 3 small tomatoes
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 300 g minced meat, mixed
  • 300 g feta cheese or Roquefort
  • 200 ml cream
  • 2 eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Cut the savoy cabbage into strips and cook in salted water for 10 minutes. Chop the tomatoes. Crumble the feta or Roquefort cheese. Dice the onion and fry in a little oil. Add the minced meat and fry. Add half of the cheese and tomatoes to the minced meat. Season the mixture with salt and pepper. Place half of the savoy cabbage in a dish. Whisk together the cream and eggs. Pour half of the mixture over the savoy cabbage. Spread the minced cabbage mixture on top, add the remaining savoy cabbage, pour the remaining egg cream evenly over everything, and finally scatter the remaining cheese on top. Bake at 200°C for 30 minutes. A side dish is not necessary, but if you like, you can serve it with fresh baguette.
